Professional Jazz, Fine Wines and Great Home-made Food in a Fabulous Setting

For the price of visiting a few winery tasting rooms, spend a Saturday afternoon in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley, tasting wine from twenty five local wineries, listening to world-class, professional jazz musicians, and sampling thirty different olive themed dishes prepared by local chefs. The Jazz and Olive Festival is presented by the Los Olivos Rotary Club. All funds generated from the event are used for the charitable projects supported in part by the Rotary club.

Save the Date - Saturday, June 8, 2013

On the second Saturday in June, from 1 to 4 pm, downtown Los Olivos comes alive with music, wine and food in the local park and adjoining street.  Be sure to get your tickets early.  Attendance is strictly limited to enhance the experience for all (and to make sure everyone gets enough to eat).

Los Olivos and the Santa Ynez Valley

Los Olivos is located in the Santa Ynez Valley, about 120 miles northwest of Los Angeles and thrirty five miles from Santa Barbara. Mattei's Tavern, where travellers of long ago got off the train from the north and caught a stage to Santa Barbara, is a block and a half from the festival site. The town has numerous winery tasting rooms where vintners from the surrounding area showcase their products. Other wineries in the area have tasting rooms at the winery and offer tours of their facilities. The nearby Danish town of Solvang is celebrating it centennial in 2011 with many special events. The Chumash Casino in Santa Ynez offers big name entertainment on a regular basis as well as gaming. Lodging is available in a wide variety of hotels and motels.
