Santa Ynez Valley

Los Olivos, located in the Santa Ynez Valley, about 120 miles northwest of Los Angeles and thirty five miles from Santa Barbara, is a former stagecoach stop and home to numerous restaurants and tasting rooms.

Los Olivos Rotary Club

The Rotary Club of Los Olivos is a group of 40 to 45 local business and professional men and women from throughout the Santa Ynez Valley who serve the community and the world as one of the 34,000 clubs making up Rotary International.

Grammy-nominee Denise Doantelli has performed for *** years in a row. She, along with Stefan Karlsson and the rest of “The Los Angeles A Team” have performed with some of the biggest names in jazz and popular music, Come enjoy them in the park for an intimate afternoon.

Local Wine

The Santa Ynez Valley is at the southern end of the Central Coast wine growing region and produces a wide variety of premium varietal wines. Extending from the cool Santa Rita Hills area nearest the ocean to the warmer areas in the upper reaches of the Valley, the local vineyards produce outstanding wines using many of the grapes made popular in Germany, France, Italy and Spain.

Homemade Food

Every year, friends and family members of the Los Olivos Rotary club prepare bite sized servings of something containing olives or olive oil. The recipes are only limited by the imagination of the chefs: there are always salads and dips, meats and proteins cooked with olive oil, and even breads and cakes.
